Our History
Lake Bluff Wine Company is a boutique wine producer focused on creating small production batches of wine from Napa and Sonoma.
Since 2003 we have been working as importers of craft and small production wines and beers from around the world. We have tasted some of the finest Barolos at Vinitaly in Verona, imbibed in wonderful Riojas from across the Ferrer Spanish estates, spent lazy afternoons with rich Bourgougnes in the French countryside, sipped Nero D'Avola in Sicily overlooking Mediterranean seaside estates, and cruised the epic shores of Lake Garda drinking Amarone from plastic cups like locals. Back stateside we have spent countless hours cruising the back roads of Napa and Sonoma enjoying afternoons that we never wished would end.
These experiences fueled our passion for the craft and sparked an idea. We began with a vision to create a special kind of wine company. We wanted to create products that can celebrate the uniqueness, beauty, and joy of a place while not being bound to any specific fixed construct. Out of that vision Lake Bluff Wine Company was born.
About Us
Curated on Chicago's magnificent north shore we focus on sourcing wines from across some of the finest wine growing regions of California. We are a licensed winery with production facilities in both Napa and Sonoma. Our goal is to work with amazing winemakers, source the best grapes, seek out the best products, and experiment with varietals from all regions in order to bring you the best wines possible. We will be constantly sourcing and producing new limited run batches a pallet or two at a time. You will not see the same production twice and each product will be unique, delicious, and provide excellent value.

Available now - Lake Bluff 2012 Red Blend
The Lake Bluff 2012 blend is aged 26 months in 70% French Oak and 30% Neutral Oak.
Juicy and jammy, with hints of berry and ripe cherry, this wine is approachable enough to drink everyday, yet refined enough for that special dinner party.
Composed of 63% merlot 18% Zinfandel 16% Syrah and 3% petite Syrah this blend opens up nicely and has aged beautifully. Production run of 50 cases.
